Moss Yoga Compensation Policy for Yoga Teachers

Overview: This Compensation Policy outlines the structure and principles governing the remuneration of yoga teachers engaged with Moss Yoga, the innovative platform connecting teachers and students globally. The policy aims to ensure fair compensation, acknowledge expertise, and foster a collaborative and supportive community.

1. Compensation Structure:

  • Class Payments: - Teachers will be compensated on a per-class basis. - Rates will vary based on experience, expertise, class type and average class price of the city the teacher is located in.

  • Private Sessions: - All sessions are private and intended for a 1:1 student to teacher ratio. Teacher’s will not receive additional payment for additional students in the video.

  • Specialized Classes: - Compensation for specialized classes, such as “Yoga for the brain” will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis, considering factors such as the teachers experience and credentials outside of their yoga training.

2. Experience-Based Tiers:

  • Compensation rates will be structured into tiers based on the teacher's experience level:

    • Entry-Level

    • Experienced (2-5 years of experience)

    • Advanced (5+ years)

3. Rate Adjustments:

  • Compensation rates will be periodically reviewed to ensure competitiveness in the market and to recognize the growth and development of our yoga teachers.

  • Adjustments may be made based on feedback, performance, and market conditions.

4. Incentives:

  • Teachers who consistently receive positive student feedback may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

  • Exceptional contributions, such as the creation of unique class formats or successful workshops, may be rewarded with additional compensation.

5. Payment Process:

  • Payments will be processed on a regular schedule, [e.g., monthly], via a secure and reliable payment platform.

  • Detailed statements reflecting the number of classes taught, earnings per month and any additional statistics will be provided in app.

6. Transparency and Communication:

  • Moss Yoga is committed to transparent communication regarding compensation structures and any adjustments made.

  • Teachers are encouraged to communicate openly with Moss Yoga administrators for any concerns or feedback related to compensation.

7. Professional Development:

  • Moss Yoga may sponsor or contribute to the professional development of yoga teachers, including workshops or training programs, as part of our commitment to community.

8. Compliance:

  • All compensation practices will adhere to local labor laws and regulations.

9. Revision of Policy:

  • This Compensation Policy is subject to periodic review and may be updated to align with Moss Yoga's evolving business needs and industry standards.
